The Japanese pair were near-perfect in the second half of last year with four titles from six events to show.
Hence, Kai Wun-Wei Chong would be eager to make up for lost time and continue the perfect start to their partnership, having been paired up just this year.
The other two Malaysian pairs entered are Lwi Sheng Hao-Loo Bing Kun and Yap Roy King-Nurfirdaus Azman.
Despite the tough draw, 22-year-old Kai Wun is still all pumped up as this marks the first time he and his partner will be taking on a top five pair.
It will be shown here as soon as the official schedule becomes available.
